Hello all 8 of my fans here ;)

Thought I'd update with a new blog post, it's been a while since the last one.

First off, HAPPY HALLOWEEENNNN! A new spooky animation is now up!

Loved doing this one, I got my friends Tom and Charles to voice act in it and then we proceeded to drink and play board games! I actually filmed some Behind the Scenes of the recording (which is honestly funnier than the animation) to go up on my Youtube Channel over the weekend.

Speaking of my Youtube Channel.... I have been spending most of my time on that than here.

That's because I didn't feel comfortable with uploading that content here as it wasn't really animation/up to the quality that I'd post on Newgrounds. 

Saying that, I've decided I'm going to start posting animations on Newgrounds first and Youtube later, just so I'm not completely prioritising one over the other. Maybe I'll start posting some exclusive stuff on newgrounds only...

Though if you are interested in my Youtube content, here's a new video I made about Doctor Who!

I do like to use Youtube over Newgrounds more to share with friends, I've tried before with Newgrounds and they got really particular because of Newgrounds ads, but whatever!

So NATA open round finished and I didn't get through. Which is actually fine! Getting through would've been amazing don't get me wrong but I can focus on all of my other stuff and not feel the pressure to rush.

The thing that got me was my score, which was a lovely 6. Not exactly the best! Bummed me out a little but I can understand the reasoning (rushed, minimal animation, overreliance on tweens, stills to pad time, etc) but seeing such a low score after feeling fairly okay about my entry is a bit of a downer.

I think it's shown me how far I have to go still and how much growing I have to do as an animator.  So from now on, I'm going to only post on Newgrounds if it's an original animation that I feel truely proud of.

What I mean by that is that on my Youtube channel, I've recently posted these two videos:

Reasons they're not on Newgrounds are a little specific. The Game Grumps one I feel the animation is a little poor, and I want each new animation on here to be an improvement over my last. Plus I'm sure yall have enough Game Grumps posted here :)

The other one is my more Youtube specific show which has absolutely minimal animation on purpose. 

BUT check them out if you're really interested, they're not in anyway BAD (I think!) but they just won't be on Newgrounds. Though I have some new animations that I'm looking forward to sharing on here which I feel step it up.

And you know what? There's always NATA 2015 ;)

Quite happy with it but it did feel a little rushed towards the end (which it was!) but I'm entered into the open round officially, First time entering a competition like this so it's quite intimidating! Everyone else is really incredible at it and if I didn't get through I really wouldn't be surprised! Though all I can do now is wait :)

Also spent my weekend at MCM Comic Con London on Sunday, which was MENTAL! Just, the best costumes, holy shit, incredible. I'll post some pictures of that soon.

ALSO watched the X-MEN, FUCK YEAH. AWESOME AS FUCK. QUICKSILVER IS THE MAN. MAGNETO IS A DICK. IT LITERALLY HAD EVERYONE IN IT (/nerdgasm).

I'm getting excited now. Like, super excited. I'm relaunching my youtube channel soon and today I've finally uploaded a trailer for my youtube channel showing a lot of what I've been working on!

Woop woop! Doesn't mean I'm abandoning Newgrounds, just got here, cmon ;) In fact it's the opposite, I'll also be entering the Newgrounds Annual Tournament of Animation! I'm so excited! Alreay wrote the script and finished a lot of the audio off, with some storyboarding to finish too. Not entered anything like this before, so it's a little daunting!

A little bit of my first entry is shown  in the channel trailer above, the bit with the flower and the mountain background art.

The competition entry is not the only thing I've been working on, but you'l find out about all that later ;) hope to see you in the competition!

Hey! To whoever's reading this, hello! How are you? Smashing! Good to hear!

I'm sort of new to Newgrounds-ish-maybe-not-really. I used to come here and play games when I was like 14-15 when Egoraptor was starting out and Madness was still popular. I used to watch flash animations all the time, and it's only recently I thought I'd try myself? Still learning!

But yeah, it's a little weird to be back here again, but posting this time, but it's exciting! I hope to meet new people and learn stuff, and if you're reading this, I want to be your friend! :D

I posted my first big project not too long a go, which was a music video for my cousin.

Super proud of how it turned out, sort of want to polish it and re-release it but for now there it is in all it's glory! Took bloody ages. I would love to hear some feedback off anyone here! But it was a great moment for me, releasing that. It's a really decent song and for me to be a part of that talent is sort of surreal, and makes me want to make more, so hopefully soon I'll be releasing a lot of new stuff!

This has been a bit of a ramble without a direction or overall point, but as a first blog post it's a start I guess!
